Michael D. Robbins & Associates is a law practice founded by attorney, Michael D. Robbins, which concentrates in civil litigation in the areas of Civil Rights and Employment Discrimination. 

Michael D. Robbins has over 30 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.  Mr. Robbins has a wide-ranging record of accomplishments in the field of civil rights litigation which includes significant jury awards in cases involving police misconduct including excessive force, false arrest, malicious prosecution, wrongful incarceration and prisoner's rights, denial of medical care, and institutional due process.  In the field of Employment discrimination, Mr. Robbins has achieved significant jury verdicts and favorable settlements in cases involving sexual harassment, various types of employment discrimination, including racial, and sexual discrimination (Title VII), age discrimination (ADEA), disability discrimination (ADA) , and violations of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).    

Mr. Robbins graduated from Chicago Kent Illinois Institute of Technology with honors.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, has been admitted to the trial bar of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and has been admitted to practice, and successfully argued appeals before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Illinois Court of Appeals.  Mr. Robbins has also been admitted to practice pro hoc vice before Federal District Courts in Denver, Colorado; San Francisco, California; Los Angeles, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the Southern District of Florida, as well as before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and in State court in Denver, Colorado. 

Before entering the private practice of law, Mr. Robbins was an Assistant Cook County State's Attorney with years of intensive jury trial experience in the Criminal Felony Trial Division, where he prosecuted hundreds of felony cases and tried scores of forcible felony cases to jury verdict, including over two dozen first degree murder cases.  In private practice, Mr. Robbins has represented hundreds of litigants including plaintiffs seeking redress for actionable conduct under federal and state civil rights laws and employment discrimination laws.   Mr. Robbins is recognized by the Chicago Bar Association as an attorney with special experience in the fields of civil rights and employment discrimination.   

With a practice focused on civil litigation involving varied issues of constitutional litigation, Michael D.
